An ultimate warm-weather luxury, having a pool in your backyard is ideal for family fun, entertaining guests, and getting in your daily exercise. A backyard pool can take many forms and shapes and a well-executed in-ground pool can be a beautifully peaceful addition to the grounds of your home. Luxurious designs make you feel as though the pool is more of a piece of art than a raucous gathering point; though many designs will allow for both. 

One of our recent remodels included demolishing the old pool, spa, and outdoor kitchen area and constructing a new peaceful oasis for the family. When we were finished, we had created a full outdoor living area with a covered entertainment center and outdoor kitchen. This space, with the pool in the center, functions in many ways allowing the family to host fun pool parties, as well as stylish summer soirees. It’s the best of form and function.

Another project we constructed a number of years ago, focused on creating a grotto-like experience in their backyard. The built-in water and stone accents make the pool feel more like a naturally occurring water feature. It gives the space a very calming, peaceful presence that is just as enjoyable to sit near as it is to swim in.

In the Silverleaf Community, we built a multi-level pool area with seating above and below. The entire home is situated on a hill facing the city and at night the twinkling lights of the buildings below create quite the magical ambiance. Above the pool is a more traditional patio seating area; but below we added a firepit for cozy discussions and late-night star gazing. This layout also features a sauna off to the side of the pool area for a more secluded soaking experience.
