What does your entryway say about you?
The entryway to your home sets the tone for the artful conception of the home. A welcoming and well-crafted entryway can usher in your guests and family with grand elegance. With detailed touches, your entryway carries the design through to other parts of the home. This design starts with the exterior of your home and utilizing a patio or garden space creates a gracious and grand first impression, as seen here in our Laurel Lane project.
We collaborated with a fantastic architect, Matthew Thomas Architecture, to find the perfect cultivated balance between the structure of the home itself and the project elements used as finishing touches. Additionally, the landscape design, another key element that helped round out the outdoor space, was created and executed by Creative Environments. Upon entering, high ceilings with rounded archways, wrought-iron, and exposed beams convey a more Old-World inspired design. The entryway sets the tone immediately and allows for cohesive design to touch multiple points in your home. In our Silverleaf projects we incorporated similar, yet different aspects to convey sophisticated Mediterranean and Tuscan influence, pictured below.
Working with Candelaria Design Associates, our craftsmanship helped bring the conceptual design and finishes to reality, pictured above. Janet Brooks Design assisted us with the beautiful materials and design of the entry pictured above left and Charles Glover Interiors assisted with the entry pictured above right. In our projects pictured we utilized color, shape, and texture to help convey the interior design choices that would run throughout the home. Construction and foundation of your home can set the tone before you start to touch the space with interior design choices. You can see an example of this in our Avenida Del Sol project in Paradise Valley. These photos were taken during construction of the home, and yet you can tell the design has a very airy, desert feel (and not just because we’re building in Arizona). The light walls and brickwork with blue window cladding, paired with exposed beams, vaulted ceilings, and more light-colored tile and wall treatments convey arid luxury.
